  1. Uribe needs surgery on his right meniscus. Hasn't been officially ruled out for the year.
  2. The long nightmare appears to be over!
  3. DSL Brewers 2 with the 1-0 lead through 4 innings despite not yet recording a hit.
  4. Mitchell hasn't really hit much on his rehab assignment so far. Between the ACL and AAA so far he's hit 2 balls in the air, a 79 EV bloop double and a 64 EV infield lineout.
  5. Pitcher's duel breaking out in the DSL Civil War today. Scoreless through 3 innings.
  6. Is that David Fletcher’s music??
  7. I'd be worried about injury if this wasn't how all of 2023 was for Woessner. He was super inconsistent start to start and even within starts with his velo last year.
  8. Woessner doing the crazy velo fluctuation thing again. Wasn't giving up much contact early in the start when he was 93 early in his outing. He's been more 89-90 the last two innings and is really struggling.
  9. Sounds like a former radio guy who has watched Whitecaps baseball for 31 years (seems like a local legend) says that's the longest HR he's seen in his 31 years watching Whitecaps baseball.
  10. Jesus Chirinos just hit an absolute bomb. The Whitecaps announcers are saying it's the longest HR they have ever seen hit in this ballpark.
  11. Bayden Root in for Wisconsin with a 2-run lead. This one could get testy.
  12. 6 dominant innings for KC Hunt. He did have a loud fly ball out in the 5th inning that is probably a HR at home, but outside of that the Whitecaps haven't threatened at all. Pitch count is in good shape, but have to wonder if he's done for the day because this is the deepest he's gone all season.
  13. Oh no Yophery. Very badly fooled and had a total wipeout on his swing to strikeout. Have to say that's the first time I've seen an "ankle breaker" in baseball.
  14. DL Hall's rehab assignment not going to plan tonight. Roped single, 407ft HR, 5 pitch walks.
  15. Really quick 4th inning for Galindez, so I think we see him get a 5th inning.
  16. 8 strikeouts for Galindez through 3 innings, but the pitch count is super elevated already. Probably only has one more inning today.
  17. Gregory Barrios back in the lineup today as a DH for Wisconsin is nice to see.
  18. It will be Peralta or a trade acquisition. Rea would be fortunate to pitch in a playoff game. Talk of him being our #1 SP is out of control.
  19. Saying he was a starter in college is a bit generous. He maxed out at 65 IP in a college season. That’s not a starter workload. He's already thrown 10 more innings this year than he has in a single season in his career and he’s 13 innings away this year from matching his total IP from 2020-2023.
  20. When is the last time the Brewers called up a prospect from DSL to ACL midseason? I don't really remember it happening the last few years.
  21. Seeing how well the Smokies have hit every non-Shane Smith pitcher in this series makes Smith's outing yesterday all the more impressive.
  22. Rivero, Yerlin, and Misiorowski on the mound at the same time leaves a high chance of seeing a walk or HBP
  23. Carolina might regret bringing in Jesus Rivero with just a 7 run lead the way he's been pitching.
