    By ERA yes but Hader’s worst outing was after he was temporarily demoted from high leverage. Rogers put up -1.02 WPA for the Brewers. Hader put up -0.24 WPA for the Padres. Maybe Hader doesn’t get temporarily demoted/shut down if he stayed in Milwaukee so his WPA gets worse, but Rogers was worse than Hader in leverage spots after the trade.

    He’s Rule 5 eligible this offseason and he will need to be protected so while there isn’t a huge rush, they are burning option years going forward if he just stays in AAA all next season

    Love our division rivals drafting pitchers in the 1st.

    Actually pretty happy the Pirates took Skenes. We can see Skenes at most 4 times a season compared to 13 times a season against a position player

    Actually super thankful the Pirates drafted Skenes. SP in division might only hurt us 2-3 times a year. An OF could hurt us 10 times a year.

    Keston Hiura since returning from the IL is slashing .278/.381/.407 for a 105 wRC+…can we please stop talking about him every single day?

    Gasser hit Rucchio in the butt on the first pitch of the game. After the brawl in yesterday's game they probably wanted to avoid escalation by tossing Gasser. Personally think the ejection was a bit excessive especially because it hit him in the butt and wasn't anywhere near the head.

    I have a feeling we get quite a few positional player pitcher innings from Nashville today. They really aren’t in a place to go 9 innings of bullpen pitchers.

    You can get a blown save in the 6th inning hence "save opportunities". 6th inning with a 1-3 run lead is still high leverage.

    Save situations aren't just in the 9th inning lol

    Brewers have had save situations in 12 of their last 15 games with only one off day in that time…when are these abundance of game situations where non-leverage relievers could have pitched?

    Yeah I really hope we can snag Davis. Think he offers the best blend of floor/ceiling with the bat out of the college guys potentially in our range.

    Honestly as long as we don't take Jacob Wilson or Bradfield at 18, I could convince myself into liking pretty much anyone.

    Gennett's swing is actually super similar to Rae's and he always did that one handed follow through as well. Maybe that's who it is.

    It's not Frazier. It's someone who finishes with 1 hand on their bat a lot. I can't think of who it is either but when I saw that video it looked so familiar
