  1. Mine as well. I think he can be an infield version of Tyrone. Honestly I hope he gets a chance at some point this season. He’s mashed LHP his whole minor league career.
  2. I should add he needs some more time in AAA adjusting to not having the tacky baseballs. Last appearance was his first without a BB. He’s also only thrown 105 total innings since 2018. He still does not have much professional experience as a pitcher.
  3. The dude got absolutely rocked lol. He gave up a hard hit line drive single, a rocket double from Cutch (that would have been a HR at AmFam), and a rocket HR to Santana. He's absolute garbage. Brewers probably have at least 10 better RP in the minors than him at this very moment.
  4. Joseph, I will not allow you to slander Darrell Thompson like this!
  5. Between Matt Bush and the St. Louis Cardinals, you really have a thing for believing in lost causes
  6. I mean they are in the midst of 17 games in a row with Miley fresh off the IL and Freddy pitching more than they probably would have wanted him to at the start of the year. They clearly felt their SP needed an extra day during a tough stretch.
  7. 100%. Our A bullpen could probably even use another day off, but our SP and offense are both unreliable and can't give them a night off. Freddy was spotted an early 4-0 lead tonight and couldn't even give us 6 innings.
  8. I mean yeah Bush is to blame for this loss, but if our offense wasn't so bad that our 4 highest leverage guys were unavailable because of overuse then Bush is never in there so this indirectly falls on the offense as well.
  9. Why are you continuing to compare the 2011 team to a team that is 14 games under .500 on July 1st and has one of the worst pitching staffs in the MLB?
  10. Number of pitches thrown the last 5 days. Payamps - 61 Williams - 61 Milner - 38 Peguero - 37
  11. He's thrown 35 pitches the last 2 days, so I don't think they will.
  12. Agreed which is why I think this ends with a loss. We likely don't have any of our top 4 bullpen guys available tonight. Just Pannone, Bush, Wilson.
  13. The Cardinals suck dude. They have zero intent on actually winning at this point and trotting a completely washed Wainwright out there every 5 days so he can get to 200 wins is all the evidence needed to prove they have no intent on winning at this point.
  14. I genuinely would rather move Freddy to the bullpen and keep Houser in the rotation at this point. Freddy is totally unreliable.
  15. Very rough times going on in the DSL and ACL for the Brewers right now. With both DSL teams looking like they are going to lose today, that would have those 3 teams combined to lose their last 17 games with the most recent win being Brewers DSL 1 beating Brewers DSL 2.
  16. I keep watching it and I cannot get over how both umps said it wasn't a swing.
  17. For those interested in watching one of the worst check swing calls I have ever seen, it is right at 3:00:00 in the Timber Rattlers broadcast today.
  18. Don't go watch his last batter. 3-2 count. Cornielle throws a FB a bit up and in. The hitter very clearly swung but played if off like a check swing and it was ruled a walk. I was absolutely speechless watching it happen.
  19. Bush is fresh, so doesn't really make sense to DFA him just to bring up another RP who they don't want pitching high leverage.
  20. Who are they optioning? Pannone is already up. Only other relievers with options are Milner, Peguero, and Williams and none of those 3 are getting optioned.
  21. 5th time pitching in 6 days for Hoby. This is a really tough ask for him.
  22. Houser finally got a big strike zone!
  23. Very doubtful considering he had 1.5 years of service time last year and this year is a true rental.
