  1. ESET Nod 32, uses very little of the system resources. I've been very happy with it on both computers.
  2. Some older articles; but entertaining reading. Olney on "Productive Outs" Hardball Times on "Productive Outs" Here are the current numbers: Espn Data
  3. top 3 or 5 protected pick would be fine with me. This is what most concerns me.
  4. Yes, we get it, the word is being used incorrectly.
  5. why do we want telfair? So he can show Jennings the downside of sucking?
  6. A year ago we were talking about how it would be a couple of years before Hammond would have a chance to start rebuilding after the mess Harris left, and now we're cutting bait? You don't overcome that kind of long term bad decision making in one year. Personally, I like the route of building a competitive franchise first, then getting the final pieces in place. I agree with those that say tanking is a bad idea for this particular franchise at this moment, and it isn't a guaranteed to work anyway.
  7. I'd say it is neither lack of drafting talent nor bad coaching; but most of it could be chalked up to bad luck or having a bad eye for injury risks. I'm willing to give our new guy drafting (forgetting his name at the moment) a few years before starting to turn things over. Jack Z. and his predecessors just didn't seem to have an eye for pitching (apologies to Yo).
  8. The other night I dreamed Prince traded for ??? and we signed the very veteran Rod Carew to play first. He was very solid.
  9. I have to agree. Is he actually complaining about his lack of a role on this team or am I misreading that?
  10. When a thread I love/follow regularly on BF.net becomes one of those "last page shows up blank" threads in firefox....grrr!
  11. You're not alone. I'd like to see the same thing.
  12. Kevin J Anderson's are good too. I think he wrote one that took place between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. I really enjoyed that one.
  13. Can someone please post a copy of this picture? The top-view one with bodies laying all over the place. Much appreciated!
  14. ha ha. Now I have a good answer the next time my wife asks how she looks.
  15. agreed. Its not like OOTP where they get mad down at the bottom of the lineup
  16. one of my favorite bet results ever involved the losing bet participant having to write Brady Poppinga a personal letter. One would be a letter of apology for not believing in him or, if the other guy won, a letter berating Poppinga for letting him down. I don't think this bet is complete yet (involved him staying healthy for a certain period of time).
  17. I'm assuming you don't want to miss the game...otherwise hide in the car w/ a bb gun?
  18. I agree with JohnBriggs. I also think it is too soon to say Hall is back to playing the way he is capable.
  19. jeffress ambidextrous. I like it.
  20. I can't believe it is opening day! I'll watch any game. Helps that it is in beautiful HD. Myers is just serving them up. There goes another one (Schaefer)
  21. they just exposed tgj to waivers, I don't think they would allow him to block a very good prospect from his natural progression. At least I hope not.
  22. well, it was pointless and too dumb to say anywhere else...so I posted it here.
  23. Just another way to say its just your opinion--i like it better than IMO. But that's just my $.02
  24. In that case maybe we should give Macha Kendall's baseball card to keep in his back pocket so whenever he forgets he can remember his stats from last year.
