    On the just first page of the ML forum, I see your thread about bullpen mismanagement, a thread about firing Yost at the end of the season and his possible replacements, a thread about Matt Wise being totally useless going forward, a thread ripping on Miller Park, a thread saying that being in a pennant race is supposed to be fun but hasn't been, a thread saying we have no possible script for success in the Colorado series, and the vent thread. Are you basing your assertion off actual fact, or are you just pissed because your thread was locked?

    Our mutual disappointment in each other will have to remain unresolved then. Except that our disappointment comes with bannings. The lack of respect and the blatant refusal of some to follow the wishes of the staff and some of their fellow posters was quite appalling last night. Seriously, if your life is so tied up in posting "GET WISE OUT OF THERE YOST!!!111!!" on an internet message board during a game, I don't know what to tell you at this point.     It has nothing to do with superstition- there was a ~70 post thread requesting no IGT or chat tonight, the staff liked the idea as well, and here we are. Of course if they win and there's no IGT until they lose again, THEN it's superstition. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

    I think instant replay is long overdue in baseball, where the calls are often blown due to closeness, being out of position, and sometimes just ego preventing them from admitting they made a mistake.

    All this doom and gloom makes people feel better I'm sure but saying this team is like the Bucks is just being short sighted. This is also the vent thread, where it's allowed. Please keep that in mind.

    Is this the first year with the revised performance percentages? IIRC, last year was still with the old percentages for types A and B.

    For example if the Yankees sign Linebrink he could easily be the third highest FA they sign (assuming he gets classified type A to begin with). So now the 1st round pick is a 3rd round pick. But you ARE guaranteed a sandwich pick. So the value of even that situation is that you get a 1st/3rd for 2 months of a guy. But yeah, it's far from a lock that Gagne will be type A.

    Homer, this is not the place to bring out facts. I'm not sure why that backhanded slap was necessary at all.

    Dude. The entire team was injured last year in the second half. Unless you define character flaw as "not having enough talent to win games", then it's a character flaw. Otherwise you're basically just being talk radio guy. I love armchair psychoanalysis, though, keep it up. Easy now, this IS the Vent Thread.
