Yep and yep. Adding in Culvers' Bacon Cheeseburger, and you've got my trifecta of happiness.

At worst Harang could solidify and replace the wheel of crap that has been thrown out in the 5th spot. I'd like to see it.
  3. craigharmann
Or Burns has some incriminating pictures.

If Hart and Gerut get platooned, we can call the name the platoon Harut.
  5. craigharmann
I would rather see any of the guys in the minors in San Diego tonight.

I think it's more about how much Bruce loves San Antonio as opposed to what he thinks about Milwaukee. After he was traded, he had an article in the local paper about how much he loves the city, and how much he's felt the love and support from the community.

Seriously???? Why wasn't Doug on the phone??

Thank you for putting into words my feelings. If we're going to go out and trade for a reliever, fine. But Vargas? That's my point. We have guys in the minors that are similar. If you're going to trade for a guy, let him be a chip to help put you over the top in a playoff run. Or a starting pitcher? But as you said, there are so many places to fill holes that it's pointless even to try. And that's the frustrating part. I am very strongly thinking about turning my rooting interest for the rest of the season toward the Rangers.

I guess Jocketty REALLY liked Rolen.

It's done. I don't get this one. How many first baseman/DH types do you need? Lowell's at 3rd, Youk can play over there or 1st. Papi is your DH, now Victor Martinez is going to catch and play 1st, and where does Kotchman fit?
  11. craigharmann
I just want at least one GOOD pitcher as opposed to Burns and Villanueva.
  12. craigharmann
Yeah, but aren't there guys in the minors that are comparable to Vargas? Or better?
  13. craigharmann
Guy from the LA Times just said that Coletti might be "rewarding" Vargas for showing up to spring training and working hard. Yeah, that's it.
  14. craigharmann
Claudio Fernando Vargas.....sounds pretty good to me!
  15. craigharmann
Why would the Giants do it? They're actually trying to make a push to the playoffs. This doesn't help them in any way.
  16. craigharmann
Traded to the Twins for Tyler Ladendorf per MLB Network.
  17. craigharmann
Crap, they just announced it on MLB network. I was hoping that this wasn't going to be the case.
  18. craigharmann
I'd very much rather have the point be winning major league baseball games.....trying to get to the playoffs
  19. craigharmann
    Does this mean we're sellers?
  20. craigharmann
I would say Hardy for Homer Bailey and either Lucroy or Salome and another player for Bannister.
  21. craigharmann
Chase Wright, Nick Green, heck Mike Jones...ANY of these have to be better than him. Right?
  22. craigharmann
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This can't be really happening, can it?
  23. craigharmann
And we need to stand pat why? I would much rather have either Brian Bannister or Homer Bailey (or both) in the rotation than Mike Burns.
  24. craigharmann
On the MLB network, they just had the President of the D-Backs live in studio and he said they were listening to offers, and Davis, Garland and Qualls were the names that came up, but they have to get good players back in return.
  25. craigharmann
I guess if you want to learn to play the game right, but you could look at any of the players from the Brewers in the 80's. Robin Yount is in the Hall of Fame. The only way Counsell is getting to the Hall of Fame is to buy a ticket.
