No, LeBron, you are not. You see, the Magic scored more points than your team in 4 games. You lost. Congratulate them. Then you can go take your ribbon for participating and go eat your orange slices. Seriously, this is what we're going to get to look forward to as a generation of coddled children who were given cheers just for showing up, and not even doing anything, feel entitled to everything, without putting in any work. What would MJ have done had he lost? He probably wouldn't have said what LeBron said, spent 12 hours in the gym every day shooting buckets, working out, getting better. What's LeBron going to do? That's the question. Does LeBron put in the work to better himself over the summer? Or is he just going to hang out, waiting for his mega payday in one year?
I agree with the lifetime ban. Pete Rose got the ban for betting on baseball. No second chances there. Is steroids any better? I don't think so. Otherwise, you're never going to have the game completely clean.
A. maze. ing. I don't know which was funnier, Craaaaa-Z's meltdown, or Lou being the calming influence and just walking up and shrugging his shoulders. That was awesome. On the suspending pitchers idea, why not suspend them for 1 or 2 starts, as opposed to games. That way, there would be a bit more teeth to it.
Which means that Cubs fans will continue to be loveable losers. Works for me. I'd rather have Cubs and their fans as loveable losers than loveable winners.
So, now we wait for Bradley to blow out his shoulder walking up a flight of stairs and for Soriano to sneeze and break his ankle. Then all is right with the world.
Why are sliders called sliders? I have always assumed they're called sliders because there is so much grease they slide right through you. Why would you want to eat that? I don't understand.
Since no one has actually said this......FINALLY! Gotta give DM major credit. Everyone figured TGJ was going to end up in SD sometime, and yet he gets a good player in return. Fantastic!
There is no doubt. Mine has a Pink Brewer uni and has already been in the presence of the team when they are on TV. There have only been 2 on, but she's watched them!
Brewtacular, first month update goes like this. Sleep happens once in a while. Actually, she's been really good about sleeping anywhere from 2-4 hours at night. Learn to sleep while the baby sleeps. I'm not a sleep during the day guy, but I've learned to do it. Otherwise life has changed, but not radically altered by any stretch. We've taken her outside and done stuff with her and that has seemed to be something that gives us dirty looks from other people. But we've decided that just because we have a baby, that doesn't mean we're going to be confined to our home. I've learned to do lots of things with one hand/arm. This morning I was feeding her while drinking my coffee. And of course, trying not to spill on her, me, or the couch. I was successful. It's been amazing, and I wouldn't trade this experience for any amount of money in the world! It just makes my heart skip a beat or 20 when she looks at me with those wide open eyes and doesn't cry, but actually smiles! Way cool!
That is beautiful......I love it! The only problem with that is it would be "You know, I pity, you know, the, you know, fool that, you know, you know, comes high, you know, n' you know, tight, you know, you know, you know, on Mr. you know, P, you know!
I was watching WGN and they were also talking about how one of the players just got in at 3 in the morning, and Brenly said, what's he gonna do? Eat cheese, I guess. He's an idiot.
I guess the D-Backs want someone who can relate to the players. When I saw his name, I thought it sounded familiar. Didn't realize that it was the same former MLB journeyman catcher. I guess former catchers do make good managers? Or at least that's the prevailing wisdom?
That was quick. Didn't they trade for Gathright in the offseason? And wasn't Freel just an up and comer a few years ago with the Reds? And now the Orioles don't even want him? Huh.
Jaws is not a bad choice, but Anchorman? Is that really big screen worthy? Don't get me wrong it is a fantastic movie, but I'd rather see something that would be a fun big screen movie. Although, I'd rather have all baseball movies, that's just me. You know, like Field of Dreams followed by Major League, with live commentary by Uecker. Now THAT would be awesome!
Red Robin is good, but a local place here in San Antonio called Chris Madrid's is amazing! Their bacon cheeseburger not only causes cravings and puddles of drool to come out of my mouth, but their tostada burger causes the same reaction in my wife! It's a fun little local hole-in-the wall place that makes great food and is one of those places you need to visit when you're in San Antonio.
I really enjoy sitting in the woods, waiting for that mushroom to come through the clearing....once I get that mushroom in the sights of my shotgun, I pull the trigger....oh wait, I guess that's animals that you hunt with a shotgun. Guess I was doing that wrong.
I'll second the Hoff's brats. Living in Mayville for many years, we had lots of their brats. I loved the jalapeno brats! That's probably about the only thing I miss about living in Wisconsin is the overabundance of brats, but I can get some Johnsonvilles down here, stick them in the some Shiner and then throw them on the grill. That sounds really good....hmm....
