    The almost ready to pop pregnant wife made it to and through the movie. She loved it. She had a good time, I had a quiet night at home with our daughter. Everyone wins.

    Agreed. You don't hear clamoring to go back to the 3 man rotation, getting away from the LOOGYs, the closers and the specialists that have become a part of the game in the past 40 years. There are changes, more specializations, and sometimes, it ends up bettering the game. Most of the time, it ends up bettering the game.

    Eh, while I live in San Antonio, where the Spurs are king, I'm quite content to watch college basketball. Heck, I might even spend time and money going to UTSA basketball games. Probably a more exciting style of ball anyway!

    That's my working theory, Jim. If a male watches the Twilight movies, it's not of his own choice, it's because of a female. And so far, the theory has proven true.

    Excellent! I have a hard time getting past the vampire/werewolf goofiness, but then the paleness and the lipstick! Ugh! One of the biggest guy pet peeves of mine is guys wearing lipstick or "guyliner". Annoying! And then the whole shirtless thing. That and it seems from the little my wife has explained to me, the story is a little convoluted and goofy.

    So, during halftime of the football game, I'm being a good hubby and loading the dishwasher. The wife is watching one of the Twilight saga movies, in preparation for going to see the new one Friday night, if our baby girl isn't born by the time. But, as I'm loading the dishwasher, it's like a train wreck. You can't look away. I know most of the board is populated by males, which leads this to be the appropriate forum for this question....do any guys like these movies? If so, why in the world would you? I can't get past the vampire dude's paleness, accentuated by his ruby red lipstick and then you have Mr. Werewolf walking around shirtless! I ask my wife why the guy is shirtless, and the answer is because he doesn't have have to put a new shirt on every time he changes back from a werewolf. Really?????

    My gut reaction is that I hate it.....because I really like Matheny. But, it's good for him, and hopefully it leads to a long and arduous process of rebuilding after Al takes his money and runs far, far away.

    Whoa, whoa, whoa now. Who came up with the valuation of not outs vs. outs? I personally subscribe to the metric of SGHWAAGG (Scrapper, Gamer, Hard Working, All Around Good Guy) as my metric. There's no going wrong there!

    Ruptured achilles. Will probably be out until May/June and possibly even longer depending on how rehab goes. Kendry Morales was expected back at some point this year but had complications from rehabbing and missed the whole year. Different injuries but still lower legs. I completely forgot about that!

    If the Rangers go for Prince or Pu, Moreland is a guy who would probably be available. He's got some pop, plays decent defense, isn't eligible for arby until 2014. Any thoughts?
