not sure why, it wasn't really his choice to leave and he has done alot for this franchise, if he plays tomorrow ill cheer him. Still don't know why players like Brady Clark come back and get booed though. Lee I can understand (even though I didn't)

Boof always reminds me of the crazy words from the old Batman TV show during fights, as I'm pretty sure that's where his parents had to get that nickname.

I completely agree, Peavey. SLAM! GUH! BOOF!

Though the Boofster was born in 1981. His parents certainly should have been familiar with the Batman fight vocabulary, but it's not like Batman was in prime time then.

I thought you'd have left for Milwaukee by now. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Watch, Cirillo gets the traditional former Brewer booing.

He better not. He's one of my top 5 favorite Brewers of all time. Talk about a guy who repeatedly said he loved the city and a few weeks back he said he thought the Brewers would take the NL Central. He holds no ill will and it was Doug Melvin that felt Graffanino was the better fit at 3B for the team. I hope he gets a nice round of applause.

A year or so ago my daughter was wearing her Sexson Mariners jersey when we went out to eat and the waitress asked about it. Turned out she was the Cirillos nanny for years in Seattle. If he were a jerk she'd know. Said he was the nicest guy in the world.

Boof is going to get destroyed tonight. After tonight the # of newborns getting the name of Boof in Minnesota will drop from #18945 on the popularity list to #18946.

Living in MN, I'm pumped for the game tonight! Plus my wife is a Twins fan, and we got rocked last year, so I'm looking for some revenge....

When Cirillo was with the Mariners a few years ago, he nearly received a standing ovation during Interleague Play at Miller Park. He has always received a free pass from the bizarre booing that has showered down on former players who left for reasons beyond their control. I'd be shocked if tonight were any different.

Wow, Gross leading off? Didn't see that coming. At least Ned didn't get tempted to put the "gritty" Counsell up there. I really like having both Gross and Jenkins in there against a righty.

Uh...Gross leading off?

I guess hitting two bombs in a game earns you the right to hit wherever regardless of your .211 average.

That should be interesting, hopefully it turns out well.

that lineup sucks, gross just cuz he has a big game gets to play over gwynn when we need a leadoff hitter. It should be gwynn leading off and playing RF hes way better than gross. Besides i have little confidence in that lineup.

I liked that Batman show.

I always thought that those thugs should have shown a little pride after continually getting there butts kicked by a 15 yr. old kid.

I think there was an episode where Robin had his learners permit or something.

I would think if you were a thug, you would at the minimum be able to whip ass on a 15-16 year old kid, but then again, you probably wouldn't have your name stenciled on your shirt either.

If Cirillo gets booed I'm joining the Hipster and telling Milwaukee to show some class. Cirillo holds some of my fondest memories, and he's been nothing but amazing to Milwaukee and its fans.
