I'm really happy for you guys....I've experienced all the stuff you guys are gushing about here and WV, and we weren't Brewer fans first. The talent train headed for Milwaukee the 4 years in WV has been phenomenal! All I have to say is you guys better fill that stadium. I'm gonna miss following the new talent, but I'll be a Brewer fan till all the guys I've gotten to know have been traded off....I guess I better learn about Pirates minor league talent! But that is the big league city I associate/watch games in the most, so I guess in time it will be better for me too! CONGRATS AND ENJOY!

As they said in a local magazine up here in the valley, time to rename the T-Rats the Wisconsin Micro-Brewers.

Here's news on the local radio deal for you folks driving around the Appleton area -- you locals would be more familiar with the (apparently strong) signal strength and such.

All the broadcasts should be available via the web and MiLB.com.

I just got a gift of 10 ticket vouchers for the 2009 season. I guess the tickets haven't been printed yet so the vouchers were the next best thing. I CAN'T WAIT!!

That's incredibly clever. I'd be very proud of our state and our entire ogranization if that name change ever were to happen. And with that team name they could even use the classic "mb", ball & glove, logo. I say that journalists and sportswriters need to just start referring to them as the Micro Brewers until the name takes hold.

I think this move will increase the number of Brewer fans in Northern Wisconsin. I enjoyed watching the T-Rats in the past. Having the T-Rats be part of the Brewers organization makes the experience much better because we get to watch the Crew kids develop in our back yard.

Hmm, maybe I can get my buddy to Tivo them for me, I dumped Time Warner long ago for Dish Network. FSN would rule for me personally, too bad. Brainerd still does work for FSN doesn't he? He always does the state High School All-Star Football game for FSN, or at least he has the past 3 seasons, so I thought he was still working there is some capacity.

Is there a legitimate chance of the T-Rats selling out opening day? Right now, I am going with at least 2 friends, but the group could grow to as many as 7 people. I really don't want to buy tix ahead of time and end up with 3 or 4 extras. Thoughts?

Buy the tickets. I called to get group tickets for the June 13th game about 2 weeks before single game tickets went on sale. We wanted to get patio seats, but they only had 6 left and they were split up all over the park. The best seats we could get started in the 2nd row in the section between the visitors dugout and the visitors bullpen. Many sections were completely full already. The T-Rats were popular before they were a Brewers affiliate. I think they are going to be even more popular now.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Can you redeem unused tickets? I get to maybe one T-Rats game a year (I went to 40+ a few seasons since I grew up minutes a way from the stadium...that and the tickets were $3 for grass seats), but I do know that for Nashville Sounds games there is 'never an unused ticket'. If you don't go, you can redeem it for any other game for a seat in the same price range.

Unused tickets are good for general admission (i.e. grass seating) for any game the rest of the regular season

I'll be in Oshkosh for May1-3 and thinking of taking in a game. Best seats look like there are around the 3B box (by the Rattler's dug out). Any recommendations?

Cheez, all the seats at TWCF@FCS are great. It's obviously a very intimate atmosphere, so it's not like you'll have anything blocking your view, save for maybe a big guy selling peanuts. Personally, the only thing I've noticed over the last few years is that during some games, the sun seems to get on you a bit more if you're sitting on the 1st base side, as opposed to the 3rd base side which seems to see a bit more shade. Get your tickets and enjoy!
