Well, if there was ever a "must win" in a MLB game. I would have to say tonight is.

 

Jeff Suppan (10-8, 4.63) vs. Brett Myers (9-11, 4.22)

Games like this are why we gave Suppan that big contract, hopefully he comes through. But if our offense puts up 3 runs or less again it might not matter how well Jeff pitches, unless he has a shutout in him.

I would think you would change up 1 if not 2 players.

Well, if something doesn't work once, just go right ahead and blindly try the same thing again. Are we SURE that's the game 2 lineup and not just a reprint from game 1? It boggles my mind that Kendall is playing again and that Counsell is in there against a lefty. Which of course means that this must be the lineup Ned's putting out there.

The Phillies to me just want this series more.

 

They pitch Moyer and Myers on short rest.

 

They pitch Lidge in non save situations to ensure easy 9th innings.

 

They look like they are hustling and just playing harder.
