Thats nonsense. The ump just called Hall out on strikes on the same exact pitch that was a ball 3 pitches before. That was ball 4.

Runge widened the strike zone there on Hall. Should have been his second walk of the game. Still good plate discipline.

Gameday literally had the pitch Hall struck out on as a ball.

Who knew that all you needed to do to make the strike zone expand was send the pitching coach out for a lengthy meeting?

Gameday called that last pitch to Hall a ball then switched it to a strike after a couple seconds.

I like how the ump decided to start giving Moyer pitches off the plate on the last two strikes to Hall.

Actually all 3 home plate umpires for the series show up in the 5 largest or smallest strike zones.
