my paternal grandmother listened to every single Brewers game on the radio since their inception. when Selig let Molitor go, she got really upset, and never listened to another Brewers game again.

My maternal grandparents had a Barrelman Brewers magnet on their refrigerator for as long as I could remember. It's now on our fridge, in the same spot at the upper center of the freezer door.

I will be attending my 5th straight Brewers game this evening. Setting a new personal record, and tomorrow will make it 6 straight.

I really will miss Milwaukee if I get a job somewhere else.

Very much enjoying listening to the STL ESPN radio guys panic about this series. Nice when a team's fan base comes in with a "I hope we can take 1 attitude"

Going to the Dreamscapes Project website to find out when their next album was coming out only to find out that it was already was out and that they were giving away for free on their website.

Got to go on a behind the scenes tour of Miller Park prior to Tuesday night's game. Learned that Uecker is the only person who parks inside the stadium (along w/Sveum's chopper), saw the supply room (bobblehead collector's dream), got to see the underground batting cages and see the Cardinals pitching staff (Lohse, Carpenter and 2 others) come in to hit and then stand behind the cage on the field for Cardinals batting practice. I was within arms length of Pujols and LaRussa...tough to stay classy.

In the whole underground parking area, 2 people park there? Or do you mean they are the only team personnel that park there while others are stadium employees? Can you elaborate on this? Otherwise, it sure seems like a total waste of underground parking. (maybe it's not that big?)

There really is no parking space inside/under the stadium. No structure or anything like that.

As for what's not bugging me: After Monday's game, walking across the bridge to the Yount lot, my buddy and I walked next to Ron Wolf. Didn't want to say anything, because I don't think anyone else realized who he was. As he turned to go down the stairs towards his car, I just said "Mr. Wolf, thanks for signing Reggie." He smiled, and nodded his head.

There really is no underground parking. As we exited the Brewers offices and entered the "behind the scenes" area, there was a vehicle parked there. We were told the rest of the players park outside in a private area and that Ueck is the only one who parks inside the stadium...and Sveum that night.

I see. I know that I had heard/read about the underground parking so I thought it was more like an underground parking area that you'd see under an office building. Thanks for clearing that up.

The S.O. and I ride the bus to campus in the mornings. We often see the Metro administrator on our bus. We all like baseball, so we often talk baseball on the bus. Last week I asked if he could get Metro buses to run a GO BREWERS message on their route signs (as they have done for years with the Badgers and Packers).

This morning he said the messages should start appearing after September 1. I am thrilled! I'm so accustomed to the Brewers getting at best third or fourth sports priority around here (after Badgers, Packers and preps, mostly football), so today I feel like the Brewers matter just a little more.

So, Madisonians, if you see GO BREWERS on the front of a Metro bus, now you know how it came to be. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I'm seriously going to keep my camera with me for a while so I can snap a photo. If I get one I'll post it.

JaDerHeyski told me yesterday to not worry about getting her a ring right now. I need to make sure I have money for playoff tickets.

I love her so much.

Plesac is fired up tonight on the MLB Network. . .His celebration had Harold Reynolds in stitches. . .Great to watch!

MLB Network last night, covering the most exciting night in baseball history. Definitely worth the missed sleep.

EDIT: a great article on last night.

It really was amazing. And I'm in agreement. I've been walking tired all day, but it's been worth it! The back and forth between games on MLB network was very fun to watch.

i looked like i was watching a tennis match while at the bar last night as i moved back and forth between all the games. even the Brewers game, which i didn't watch, had a lot of meaning.

Having playoff tickets in hand. Not trying to run anyone's nose in it - we did the scramble for tickets in 08, so I'm just so happily secure with my strip of tickets. Buying a 20-game pack right after the signed Greinke was the best choice we've made in awhile.

I just got back watching the Brewers finish off a 4-0 weekend for the state of Wisconsin and then I read this. Best. Weekend. Ever.
I just blue myself.

I'm afraid I prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry

run if you will, so I'm afraid I have something of a mess on my hands.
