I do feel bad for players like Reed that are stuck proving themselves in limited appearances, especially in the very difficult PH role. However, the Brewers need to put their best players on the field and they can not afford to wait around for him to start getting hits.

Reed has had 1375 MLB PAs. His career line is .252/.309/.354. He just isn't good. But he is a Spring Training Warrior. His last 3 spring trainings his OPS has been 1.087, .953 and .944.
