I thought he was out but after the replay that was an awesome call. Took guts to make it too in Colorado. The kid done good for himself.

Where did Hart's speed go? He's slow.

Too many umpires would call Hart out there simply because the ball beat him and the catcher applied a tag. But as the replay shows, Hart was safe. Wish more umps would call the play and not the ball. Good call kid.

Wow, a umpire that actually calls the play and not the ball. The ball did beat Hart, but Hart slide into the home and got a piece of it before the tag.

 

Maybe more minor league umps should be up.

That last replay on fsn definitely showed corey was out but I won't complain. It definitely was close enough that iannetta shouldn't have overreacted like that.

I actually thought Hart was out. The still photo seems to confirm it, but it's a tough play and the ump called what he thought rather than simply anticipating the call. I give him marks for hat alone. Ianetta was out of line, no matter what the call.

I think he got him on the back leg that was curled with his other leg extended over the plate. Looked out in a lot of replays bc you can't see his curled leg.

 

Ump was in a good position to make the call.

Yeah, he was out, but I'm glad the ump with quick with the hook. If I was a minor league ump getting a "call up," I wouldn't take much crap either.
