Everyone who goes to the game today should take a flashlight to shine when the Cardinals are up so that they have no problem seeing the ball when the LED bands aren't on.

It's the classy thing to do.

Wish we'd play Hairston at third.

I think we see Hairston at short once Yuni inevitably slows down . For now it is a good bat to have off the bench over Counsell or Wilson. Let's get the series win today! Too bad about last night but ya can't win em all. this is a big swing game today.

Brewer numbers against Jackson look good (small sample alert!). As of last night Pujols was questionable for today with bruising in his hand and/or wrist following Saito's vicious and obviously intentional attack on poor Baseball Jesus's magical wrist. He's just lucky that with Saito's pinpoint control the ball didn't strike the single bone that would make his whole hand collapse. This is why MLB rules should be adjusted so people can't pitch inside to Pujols.

If Pujols is out, it'll be an easier game.

I just hope we avoid playing down to their level and getting involved in an altercation or fight today. If it is a blowout, it could get ugly. The last thing we need is suspensions in the middle of a playoff chase.

Series win would be HUGE today! Maybe bigger for us fans, considering all that has happened last night. I'd love to see them get out to a big lead and bring in Estrada to stick one between somebody's shoulder blades late in the game. I'm not really a big "gotta retaliate" type as I think a win would do the most damage, but I'm sick of LaRussa walking around like he's king of the baseball world and doing and saying whatever he pleases. Saito's pitch was obviously unintentional and then he has his guy purposely throw at Braun.. and admits it in the post game interview!! Didn't Weaver just get suspended for a week for throwing at somebody and nothing comes EVEN when the manager admits what they did? The crappy part is for either pitcher today if somebody comes inside and accidentally hits a batter he's likely being tossed.

..actually it wouldn't suprise me at all if LaRussa had his guys digging in extra close in the opening inning today just for that fact.

Absolutely. Focus on the real game; don't give in to the mind games. Get back on the bike, Brewers.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I am more focused on the crowd than the players for this game. I want deafening boos every time my most hated person in sports, Tony LaRussa pops his weasel-head out of the dugout. I want full blown up placards of his DUI mug shot. I want Brewer fans to bring the pain. 45 minutes till chaos hopefully.

We are going to get crushed today. I'm sure we don't have a scouting report on Jackson and he'll 2 hit us. We haven't seen bad Randy in a long time, so I'm expecting the worse, including a Dillard cameo in the 4-6th innings. I was so sure we'd win last night, that I really can't feel optimistic today.

Jackson pitched for the Dbacks. They have information on him. If I can find his record against the Brewers, I'll link it.

I am watching the Cardinals broadcast since I live in Charlotte, and they just did a recap of last nights game. T he Cards announcers keep going on about how Rob Drake was pushing Molina (huh?) and they were focusing on The Doorman, zeroing in on him yelling at Cards players on several occasions

He's a fan. What do you expect him to do? It's like these guys have never seen a baseball game before.

Anyone who thinks they know the Brewers are going to lose should put their money where there mouth is and bet on it. Vegas thinks it's a coin flip, so you can get rich!

Cory Provus just said to Jerry Hairston Jr. on the pregame show that it must be interesting conversation at the Hairston family Thanksgiving. Provus must not be aware that the Hairstons are Jehovah's Witnesses.

I'm surprised to see Molina in there. I thought for sure there was a suspension coming. Big game. Lets start another winning streak!!!

I've been nervous/stressed out since last night's game ended. I re-watch the Tony Gumbel interview and it put me in a better mood. Go get 'em Woof (as the Cardinal announcers pronounce his name)! Let's score double digits Crew!

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

I still think he will be suspended. Maybe 12 hours was too quick a turnaround time to gather all the facts.

This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.
