Randy Wolf

11-9, 3.58

A rough fourth inning cost Wolf and the Brewers on Wednesday as Cardinals pitcher Jake Westbrook hit his first career homer, a grand slam, to put St. Louis on top. Wolf allowed six runs on seven hits over five innings in his first loss since July 23.

I like the fact that you picked up on the cowboy pic. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

It's bizzaro world, hawing. That said, let's go, Brewers. 1-0 for today. Straight business, pardners!

So when are they going to report that RRR was abducted and replaced with a look a like? Only with a Goatee, you know, because he would be evil.

Loving it. Can't wait for the return of Rickie to make this even better.

Right on. Replace Hairston Jr with Weeks, flip Weeks and Green, and replace Betancourt with Hairston Jr and that's one nice looking lineup.

I am stunned. It's like Roenicke looked at his roster, looked at his lineup card and said, "Let's try something that makes sense today."

I hope Green gets a hit or two today because I dont want this being a short-lived experiment. When Weeks gets back I really like our lineup. I want to see Hairston get some time at SS

Wow. This lineup may make the most sense I've seen in a long time. Probably means we get shut-out. Yuni buried in the 8 hole, hopefully he stays there if RR insists on starting him every day. I like to believe Lucroy will hit 7th from now through Oct. Then you have Yuni/Hairston/CC/Wilson....whoever plays SS hits 8th. Weeks hits 5th, Casey/Green 6th. But until Weeks gets back, I'm fine with Casey/Green hitting 5th.

To echo previous posts, loving this lineup! I'm starting to feel like there's at least a chance of JHJ at SS when Weeks comes back too. With Yuni's continued poor defense and JHJ hitting very well, I think RR will have to at least consider it.

I think Green has done enough that he'll still get some playing time regardless of today, but it sure seems like an awful lot to ask to start your career off that hot to get yourself some decent playing time. On the plus side yeah for optimizing the resources on hand.

Everyone is jinxing the lineup! Saturday night everyone complained about how terrible the lineup was (and that RR was an idiot) and 8 runs were put up. Hope the opposite doesn't happen.

But yes, this line-up makes a lot of sense. I think switching things up seems to spur some hitting.
