time to be salty. STAY DOWN PUJOLS

No need for that.

probably not, youre right. i guess i'm slightly bitter. would have been a DP even if they made the right call on Braun's hit.

I finally turned it off. I can't take it anymore. It was a good year. But RR treating the past two games like they're playing the Pirates in late May didn't turn out well.

You knew this loser bunch didn't stand a chance when they were all over themselves after game 4 going on about "at least we got it back to Miller Park" etc..etc. They had no intention or urgency to win game 5 and it showed.

It's a loser mentality and it starts at the top.
You could go away. That would help me cope a little bit tonight.

Brewers simply can't win when Fielder and Braun are 0 for 6 in a game where everyone is hitting. But let's blame everyone else, because it's more fun.

Reading this thread tonight has convinced me that some people will always hate on management, and there's no point in trying to convince them otherwise.

Sure. But if you think Roenicke hasn't been clearly outmanaged by LaRussa this series, I very much disagree.

Yes they can. They have 6 runs, that should win you most games.

It's hard to blame a part of the offense when they have 6 runs in 5 innings.

Braun and Fielder now 0-6. Not going to win many games that way.

Well we still scored 6 runs. That should be enough

i get what you're saying, but i think it's prettay prettay fair (larry david voice) to blame this one (and a good chunk of the series) on the pitching.

you know how Holmgren has his own "Way" and Lombardi his own Avenue and what not? And I think McCarthy is deferring his presently...

Can we name some pot-holed, car-jacking prevalent, busted sewer line / flood prone, 1-way, no street lights alley after Marcum?

Sure they can on most days, if the rest of the offense scores 6 runs.

Braun and Fielder haven't carried their weight today, but when you've scored 6 runs and aren't even close to the lead, Braun and Fielder aren't the reason we aren't winning.

Of course he has. Badly. But the root cause was bad pitching and defense.

Understood. I mean this particular game, as it has unfolded. When everyone is joining in, you have to expect more from the guys who got you there. I love them both, but they've had 1 good AB between them tonight.

Jonah Keri: "Brewers have played a horrifically awful game, but doesn't help when you've been jobbed at least 4 times by umps."

that about sums it up.
