Uh, he was out. Tee hee!

It was such an ugly slide that he tricked the ump. To much to track when he's rolling in like that with legs everywhere.

This evens out the missed call on Braun at second last night.

Kemp had a terrible throw and even though it looked like Ellis did get Morgan before he got the plate Kemp's terrible throw up the line made it a safe call.

Question.... Will Nyjer get chewed out my RR for running through a stop sign even though he scored?

What happened? I dont get the games live

Braun popped out to shallow left. Kemp threw a two hopper that was up the line. Plush was tagging up through a stop sign by Sedar. Plush had a horrible slide and the ump called him safe. You could tell he was out when watching in slo mo, but live it was a little harder to tell.

Kemp must not have thought he was going. Don't know how else to explain that throw.

All part of the plan. Sedar says you go if it's anywhere in the OF and I'll hold my hands up to deke the D.

I never saw an angle that showed the catcher's glove ever made contact with Nyjer. In the words of Ueck, "He missed the tag, he missed the tag!" Maybe?

Well after the gift the Dodgers got against the Padres a few days back I am glad we are on the receiving of them getting the balanced out call

Watch the angle from behind Morgan, the catcher clearly tags him on the butt.

He tagged him on the butt right before Nyjers leg crossed the plate.

Do MLB players get chewed out for anything anymore? In this era it seems that managers are more "buddy" than "boss". I doubt anything gets said to Nyjer.

Actually, saw that angle 5 or 6 times now in slow mo. Morgan's foot was over the plate but not on the plate when he was clearly tagged. So he was out, but also a very tough call to make real time.
