Didn't think we would see that combination of hitters #5-#8 in the lineup 10 games into the season... or ever for that matter.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

I wish baseball had the same rules as golf. If the umpires miss a call, I can just pick up the phone and call MLB. The Cardinals will have to forfeit the game or surrender two runs!

So I turn the channel over from watching Stricker fight and fight and then give it all away at 18 to see this. Sure it's only a 1-run game, but it feels pretty much like last night.

I've had it with Rickie and his giant mop of hair.

Spend more time on improving your hitting rather than doing your ugly head of hair...

Cut it off, maybe a new look can get things going...

How worthless is Weeks right now?

The guy just isn't the same anymore. He's never been clutch. He takes too many fastballs. He's lost speed. His defense is not good enough to overcome his offensive deficiencies. People can post his stats all they want. Stats don't show the whole picture. I remember Mike Cameron being the king of worthless homeruns. Cameron always homered when we were either down by 10 or up by 10. At least Cameron more than made up for his weak offense with elite defense. I can't say the same about Weeks.

Man, how shallow was Holliday playing there? That seemed like a sure single off of Lalli's bat.

I wouldn't play deep with Blake freakin' Lalli at the plate.

First Basemen hit for POWER, though..... or something.
