We really need Anderson to eat some innings, I'm a little worried about the bullpen getting overworked. Peralta gives us nothing, Jungmann seems to need to make some adjustments, Davies got knocked around. Haven't heard anything about Garza.

The Twins have almost no offense at all with a team OPS of 644. The Brewers are at 658. However their pitching is pretty decent with a team ERA of 3.44. The Brewers have a 5.19 team ERA.

Keep letting Walsh rot. Good plan.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I don't know if BF.net has already celebrated the glory of the Bedrock Tile & Granite dinosaur commercial, but if not, I'd like to do so.

So the tiny T-Rex walking through a kitchen is obviously hilarious. But I also like the phrase used in the intro to the commercial -- "the dawn of granite has been around since the early days of the dinosaur...". Now, leaving alone for a minute just how god-awful that is structurally as a whole... "the dawn of granite"?! Or maybe they meant The Don of Granite, who is apparently a 4-foot tall T-Rex.

Oh, local commercials that almost go big-budget but fall short... never change!

Does Aaron Hill really need to play every day?

I was going to post pretty much the exact same thing. I just see no purpose in him taking up a roster spot. The gritty veteran presence in his case is extremely over-rated.

I see that Matt and Bill are pronouncing Arcia properly (AR-cia). That's not intuitive for English speakers because we expect it to rhyme with García. Bob Uecker had it correct from the get-go. Brian and Bill have been on and off.

And 10-1 that Craig Coshun never gets it. But the kid announcers at Miller Park will.

Tonight's trivia question is pretty lame… who played in more games as a Brewer: Yount or Molitor.

Over the span of their entire careers (not just as Brewers), Yount played in more games than Molitor.

I keep getting this feeling that if the opponent scores 3 or more runs the game is over. The TC pitcher throws 27 pitches in the first inning and we can't make him pay for it. Anderson is not in control this time.

Three runs now and its time to watch an old rerun.

A quick check of the program guide indicates that you can opt for either [cite]Happy Days[/cite] or [cite]All in the Family[/cite].

I'm going through MLB team stats and trying to find an area where we aren't atrocious.

23rd in runs, 27th in batting average, 28th in ERA, 30th in WHIP, 30th in K/9, 29th in runs allowed, 30th in run differential.

Don't be fooled by 'only' being 5-7, we are every bit as bad as we thought we might be.
