Okay it's up to Woodruff to win this series for the "visiting" team. Hitters need to hit with RISP. Please and thank you.

I just wish Perez wasn't a for sure start against a lefty. Just so tired of him.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

It always felt as though we smashed left-handed pitching but I went and looked at the splits and our numbers are actually worse. Maybe that's because Braun usually pulverizes them but either way, I enjoy our other lineup so much more than when we trot out Broxton and Perez.

Now we're getting somewhere. Travis comes in to score and still nobody out. Let's get a big inning going guys!

Broxton is just not a good hitter. Fantastic fielder but hitter, no. Now Orlando strikes out too.

I hope they don't squander this with just one run.

I just don't understand how Broxton constantly swings through 90 mph pitches down the middle of the plate

Can't think of another Brewer quite like him, at times so bad and unable to even make contact on meatballs it's laughable, then will go a week where he carries the offense. Seems like a guy at least worth keeping another year, cause if he actually figures it out he could be special.

Travis on first with an RBI single after the dropped ball.

Love this inning for Woodruff who helped with his walk.

It's nice having a good hitting pitcher in the lineup, over the last few years we have seen some absolutely awful hitting pitchers at the back of the lineup. Nelson and Garza are two of the worst culprits.

Tigers Matthew Boyd has a no-no through 8 innings in case anyone hasn't seen that.

Huge! Great hustle and now a 3 run gap shot by Santana!

Give credit to Woodruff for keeping the inning alive by taking some tough pitches!

Not sure why he threw so many breaking balls to Woodruff......just can't walk him in that situation.
