Also, with the righty on the mound today and an afternoon game against a lefty tomorrow.. my guess is we get a pretty similar lineup as last night's successful one (switching out a hobbled Arcia) before tomorrow's 'Sunday' lineup. I think Bandy goes tonight and Nottingham tomorrow. A 2nd day off for Domingo might be ok given his struggles. Sit Braun tomorrow and let Domingo hit against the lefty. Just my thoughts/guess.

Cain (CF)

Yelich (RF)

Braun (LF)

Shaw (3B)

Thames (1B)

Villar (2B)

Sogard (SS)

Braun's days off shouldn't come against LHP whenever possible. Unless they really want to get Aguilar and Santana both in.

Suter isn’t long for this rotation.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Suter stinks. When is this experiment going to be over? Once Jimmy can pitch? Blech.

Oh, I'm guessing Miley is on the fast track. Question is whether the send him down of to the bullpen.

I never understood why Suter made the rotation over Guerra or Woodruff.

Neither could I. Maybe he wouldn't have if Miley was healthy but he seemed to have a spot pretty locked in.

They want Miley to make one more rehab start after his 2nd one tomorrow, then I'm guessing he'll take Suter's spot in the rotation on Wednesday May 2nd. Suter lines up against the Cubs next Friday though, so I wonder if Miley has a good start tomorrow if they accelerate that time table and bring him up then.

With Knebel/Logan on the mend faster than expected, they'll likely push Williams/Drake out of the pen and there won't be another spot for Suter (unless they want to carry 8 again I guess), so he maybe they'll keep him stretched out at AAA but if it doesn't work out with Miley, I'd assume they just bring Woodruff back up over Suter (or by then maybe they go with Burnes or Peralta).

Too bad because I like Suter and think he'd make a decent bullpen arm but I think there's going to be too much talent pushing him off the big league team before long.

Suter is exactly why you don't make decisions on a handful of games. I don't think he could be effective in the Bullpen with the crap he throws, even as a long man how could he keep the lead close with his arsenal of completely hitable pitches...

Suter's mlb rotation days definitely numbered...just too many more talented arms behind him right now, some if which are rehabbing, some who are younger prospects.

He is just too hittable...no matter how much you like the guy, he basically needs his best stuff and pinpoint control to provide a chance at a quality start

Suter is like the Eric Sogard of starting pitchers. Managers probably love him, you want to cheer for him...but the reality is he just isn't very good.

Woodruff should not have been demoted for this. Especially when you just said when he made the team that he's a guy who needs to get his shot here and be given a chance without being jerked around.

Woodruff is starting tonight in CS, so he could easily slide into Suters spit if they decide to remove him

It would take a lot for me to slide into someone's spit.

Even Gallagher couldn't make that entertaining!

I don’t have an issue with Suter getting a shot to start but I will have an issue if they don’t make a change when it’s apparent he’s not that good.
