2018-07-10: Brewers (Chacín) at Marlins (Lopez) 6:10 PM CDT [Brewers win, 8-4 -- Corbin Burnes makes MLB debut with a two inning save]

[markedman5]

Going to one of those series.......

[adambr2]

Shaping up to be a beauty of a series against a crap team.

[jvrocksaz]

With a player like Saladino having to hit 5th, I wouldn’t expect much from the offense unless 1 through 4 just go off. Hopefully we don’t have to burn the pen tonight while using a Sunday line up.

[tmwiese55]

Must win tonight. This thread will be very tough to read if they lose or are losing tonight...

Damn, I wasn't going to watch but with our playoff hopes on the line I better tune in.

I could be mistaken in my interpretation, but my understanding of the post was that it's a must-win to avoid having this thread devolve into the typical madness that ensues with more than 1 loss in a row.

Exactly. Just popped on for the first time, very surprised on the lack of negativity so far

[adambr2]

Disappointed to see Kratz back in there. What would Nottingham have had to do to earn another start?

[82brewcrew82]

Can't stand Kratz

[jvrocksaz]

Kratz is sloooooooooow

[PinaMadness]

As if it wasn't hard enough to hit with RISP...

[markedman5]

So Broxton cost us a run unless Yelich can get a hit here

[pacopete4]

Broxton costs the team a run. Yippeeee!

Edit: Yelich saves him. Still dumb.

Never mind.....lol

[AKCheesehead]

Yelich bails out Keon of his gaffe. The neon cell phone addicts got there just in time.

[wildcat83]

Awesome, another starter struggling and no offense to pick him up.

How many runs do you need in the first two innings???

[PinaMadness]

I forgot about Juan Nieves being the Marlins pitching coach. How many times will we hear about how he's the only Brewers pitcher to throw a no hitter?

[82brewcrew82]

Are we allowed to big hits in an inning?

[PinaMadness]

That's more like it.

[82brewcrew82]

I guess so.

[markedman5]

That's a big hit by Saladino

[pacopete4]

We don’t need no stinking Machado.

[PinaMadness]

We don’t need no stinking Machado.

Yes we do.

Quoting myself here...

Worked like charm!

[82brewcrew82]

LOL

[jvrocksaz]

Get Burnes in the game here.

[pacopete4]

Yes we do.

Naw.

[markedman5]

My goodness.....can we get ahead of hitters and throw quality pitches to get them out at all in this series?
