Listening to talk radio this week...I wish I had the sunny disposition of Tim Allen, chastising any Brewers fan that isn’t enjoying this because we are in a pennant race so this must be fun.

It is hard to be as bad as this team has been offensively tonight. Sucks that the closer gave it up but this pitching staff is throwing high stress pitches all night every night due to offense just being asleep to many times.

Why doesn't Kratz call high heat when JJ is pitching. He gets really predictable staying low in the zone. Maybe jj is shaking him off? At 97 he could blow that by a lot of hitters.

I've found this to be one of the most annoying games of the season, frankly. Of course, I'd rather win an annoying one than lose a fun one, but they better get it done. Especially with a 4 run lead and their track record against these guys lately.

I really want to believe this team is poised for a strong stretch run - but the eye test keeps forcing me to question that positive outlook....it's just been too hard to put together solid 15-20 game stretches since the calendar hit June to expect them to get on a big roll.

I guess it's just me but I'm having a hard time watching this team collapse for the second year in a row. I don't find that even remotely fun.

Some of these AB's have been night and day between Brewers and Pirates. All of these Pirates have been tough outs all night.
