2018-09-12: Brewers (Anderson) at Cubs (Hendricks) 7:05 PM CDT [Brewers win, 5-1 -- Granderson 3-for-4 including 3B, HR]

Terrible at bat by Shaw.

[MoreTrife]

Just real disappointing Shaw. Gotta put in in play.

[MrTPlush]

I’m so sick of watching Shaw lately. Absolute worthless the last month, only some homers keeping his stats out of the landfill. Edited September 13, 2018 by MrTPlush

Glad we started Granderson......tough not to get that 2nd run in.

[KeithStone53151]

Overall a good start to the game. 1 run and made Hendricks work a bit. 1-2-3 for Anderson please.

Are you counting how many solo homers he gives up in a row?

[PinaMadness]

I know it won't happen, but we'd be better off with Moose next year and trading away Shaw.

I sure hope not...

I wish you were wrong...

Every time I look down I hear the crack of the bat and a crowd go crazy. I know the Cubs fans are idiots, but my heart skips every time until I look up and see an outfielder camping 20 feet short of the track.

[brewcrewdue80]

Anderson hit hard. A lot of mistakes that 1st inning got away with it.

[wildcat83]

I get starting Perez vs lefties, not so much righties.

[wildcat83]

Nice patient AB by Thames.

[KeithStone53151]

Hendricks seems to be struggling with FB and CB command a bit. Changeup is excellent and his command is very good with that pitch. Will be interesting to see if he can find it.

[MrTPlush]

Wow Hendricks is throwing a lot of pitches, better hit into a DP grounder.

[KeithStone53151]

Naturally I had to say something, right afterward he paints the corner with consecutive FB and gets a GIDP.

The whole broken face has really slowed down the Pineapple.

[markedman5]

What a throw......wow

[PinaMadness]

Might as well just walk back to the dugout from first base.

[homer]

Atta boy, Manny. Get that no eyebrowed freak.

[treego14]

Pineapples have arms!

[KeithStone53151]

The tag by Shaw was good as well. Overshadowed by the throw. That right there is why I like Pina in there over Kratz. Defense at the catcher position can't be understated.

[PinaMadness]

Only 39%? You sure it isn't 99? Because I can't remember the last time Manny V. failed to nail a would be base stealer.

[yfinn6]

Baez hurt? I'm sure he's fine.

I hope he is fine. No excuses.
