Man I am enjoying this stuff. No one even pictured that these games would matter and here we are competing with one of the best teams in the league for the division. How awesome is this?!?

Everyone is going to call that a great catch, but in reality that was a terrible route and he just about botched that.

 

Great speed to get there...but wow...bad bad route.

Agree. One that Yelich makes if Braun is in left too. But still great to come up with it.

Can only imagine their record if the bottom half of the order wasn’t a black hole

Yea, this is why I really struggle trusting defensive stats. The metrics say Granderson is even worse than Thames in the OF, but there is zero chance Thames makes either of those catches by Granderson.

Braun might. He's made quite a few nice catches lately, and he'd probably be positioned different from Granderson.
