That sure looked like it was going foul. Bad play by Rizzo

 

Nah. Iffy and if you don't grab it and it doesn't go foul you get no one out and you're in trouble.

 

 

IDK man. That was moving pretty fast and veering. I don't think you can fault him for making the play, I think that was 95/5 in favor of being a K

He would have had to stop, turn around, and then chase it to grab it again. Arcia would have ended up on third if he lets it go.

To be fair, the GIDP was hit hard and then he drilled the crap out of those two fouls. He was right on everything until the last pitch.

Following on MLB Gameday, like I had to from Mid-May to mid-July when I was working second shift. So it almost feels just like a regular game.

I'm hoping he gets a 3rd AB against Quintana (who's a creep and can roll).
