Do we play seven inning games in the NLCS? Why is Hader getting loose?
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Odd that Hader is up right now. I'd hate to blow him this early.

Hard to question anything they do anymore. They might bring in another LHB PH and then the Brewers will still have a gauntlet of RHP's in the pen.

Seems early for Hader with Woodruff throwing really well.

Way early. No idea why.

He’s up for show for now. Game within the game. Keep the lefties (and Puig) on the bench until CC squeezes every drop he can out of Woody tonight.

I vote woodruff bats this inning and goes for 3, maybe 4, innings. He has been clean thus far and pitch count is manageable. Don't think it's gonna happen though

I have to think that CC is just following the plan... 4th inning up by one warm up Hader... That said, I hope he adjusts and lets Woody go for as long as he can.

I believe this to be the case. The way Woody is throwing... man...

Yeah I would probably hold off on Hader too. I guess he's probably got it mapped out for Hader to throw the 5th and 6th, then some combination of Soria, Burnes, Knebel and Jeffress for the 7th thru 9th?

Woodruff probably done with his spot due up this inning I guess, but Hader now seems early.

I understand, but man he's pitching great, he hit a home run last innning. What more can Woodruff do.

How did Brandon Woodruff spend most of 2018 in Colorado Springs?

While the Brewers August rotation numbers were some of the worst in baseball to boot. That is a mystery that will never be solved.

Do they maybe see him as a pen guy rather than a workhorse starter? My only guess here.

Anyone else notice all the pine tar on the back of Kershaw's hat?

WOW. Yeah, that's clearly not cool/legal.

It's Clayton Kershaw though. They won't do jack.
