As we have discussed many times now this team is helpless against lefty pitching. If the Cubs with Lester, Hammels and Quintana and Dodgers with Kershaw Ryu and Hill are the teams to beat this team is in need of reinforcements. I'm not going to ask for Hiura because he's a rookie and he can only be expected to do so much. I'm thinking a veteran right handed bat to at least make it interesting. Any ideas??

Well, Tatis Jr. is a 20-year-old rookie for the Padres and is hitting just great! Keston was hitting very good for us! Bring him back, soon!

Well, the Brewers seem a bit cursed in this ballpark.

They're cursed against crappy teams, apparently.

Unless the Brewers find a way to score some runs, this is going to make 7 of the last 10 series in which they’ve gone into the last game of the series needing a win to salvage one game. 5 of those 7 have been 3 game series. They’ve managed to win the first 6 “salvage” games, but that’s not exactly following the “just win series” strategy.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

2-0 feels insurmountable right now.

Trying to stay positive, but the offense has been so lifeless in San Diego that it’s hard to envision them scoring 3+ over the last three innings.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Why does this man bat 3rd every night?

Almost comical he bats in front of two All Star with OPSs north of .900 almost every single time he starts. How.

This is really the first time I’ve felt like this during the year

They are not as good as their record

It’s going to be an ugly second half. Something is going to have to change.

The fact that Braun is hitting third in this lineup despite the fact he no longer is scary enough for the other side to switch out a righty is shameful. That said no one else outside of Grandal deserves the job. Saledino with 5 more hits tonight. Bring him to the show.

Holy crap you guys ... I get that the team is playing crappy right now, but that's baseball. The sky isn't falling.

The sky isn't falling but it's raining real hard.

Welp...I guess that's one way to get Hiura back up if Moose misses time - probably the worst possible way though

That has the look of a broken hand and a long DL stint.

Fingers crossed that he can dodge that part of the bullet.
