Nobody anymore even tries to hit liners over the infield ... too many guys swinging for the wall or the gaps ... Braun had the right approach in the 6th ... just dump it in! Too much of Brewers hard contact is to outfielders stationed near the warning track. We need slap-hitting contact hitters besides a few bomb-throwers!

The trade deadline has come and gone and Junior Guerra appears to still be among the top options in crucial late inning situations. Not ideal, IMO.
