2019-08-03: Brewers (González) at Cubs (Hamels) [Brewers lose, 4-1 -- Offense continues to struggle; Bullpen allows 3 runs over final 2 innings]

[treego14]

I think calling people garbage here should be banned. These people are not garbage!

I have been compared to trash ... But so has Corbin Burnes! We're okay!

I think calling people garbage here should be banned. These people are not garbage!

I don't know. I eat WAY more junk food than I should...

[tomwopat]

Braun is trash, just playing to the score instead of trying to maximize the run potential by swinging for the fences

[Oxy]

Gigantic inning from Albers there. Heart of the order goes down quick right after we tied it up.

[brewmann04]

I would like to see them call up some younger guys in Supak and Williams

[treego14]

Orlando is in Illinois! Nice clean single with one-out in the 7th! Let's spoil their 7th inning stretch!

[Oxy]

Grisham gets the AB over Gamel and Shaw...C'mon kid.

[treego14]

Passed ball ... Orlando to 2nd!

[PinaMadness]

Grisham up. Here comes the three run home run, and there's only one on base.

[Oxy]

That was a strange passed ball...I think Contreras was crossed up, but usually you can stop the offspeed cross ups right down the middle.

[BrewCrewBlueDevil]

Looks like Lorenzo Cain is swinging at the first pitch AGAIN!

[treego14]

Nobody anymore even tries to hit liners over the infield ... too many guys swinging for the wall or the gaps ... Braun had the right approach in the 6th ... just dump it in! Too much of Brewers hard contact is to outfielders stationed near the warning track. We need slap-hitting contact hitters besides a few bomb-throwers!

[treego14]

Cain for the batters is a pain! Contreras is hurt!

[wildcat83]

Sure seems like Guerra has pitched like 98 out of the last 100 games...

Cain sure still earns his pay check in the field, another great catch.

[pacopete4]

Keep trying to hit dingers Cain. A contract we are going to regret I think.

[wildcat83]

That hamstring does not look like the day to day variety.

[treego14]

Boo!

[PinaMadness]

Sure seems like Guerra has pitched like 98 out of the last 100 games...

Cain sure still earns his pay check in the field, another great catch.

And still wouldn't put him on pace to catch Claudio.

[brewmann04]

And Guerra gives up a big HOME RUN

[adambr2]

Guerra sucks.

[wildcat83]

Guerra been bad the past couple weeks. This is adding to the frustrating pitching decisions.

[brooks_quichenick]

Hate to say it but Junior is toast without that splitter

[PinaMadness]

And that's why we need to go to a gassed Hader sometimes.

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

Guerra sucks.

Also ... this offense sucks.

[Eye Black]

The trade deadline has come and gone and Junior Guerra appears to still be among the top options in crucial late inning situations. Not ideal, IMO.
