2019-09-10: Brewers (Anderson) at Marlins (Hernández) [Brewers win 4-3 -- Yelich suffers season ending knee cap fracture]

[nate82]

Hopefully we can see more of Austin and less of Freitas going forward.

Is it possible to see less of Freitas? I suppose they could park him in witness protection with Nottingham, but the guy only has a handful of PH appearances.

I would prefer never to see Freitas bat again.

[LouisEly]

Forget the bullpen usage. I’m mad CC called a bunt (if indeed that was his call—and I can’t imagine a position player making that call himself in that situation).

Was it a safety squeeze?

[Lostpawn]

C’mon Hernan!

[HarveysWBs]

Biggest AB of Shaw’s season right here?

[jason21nl]

I feel a huge hit coming

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

Travis Shaw Redemption Tour time.

[Lostpawn]

Big moment for Shaw.

Ding-dong city

[nate82]

Yeah no LOL Mets tonight!

Now just need the Rockies and Padres to do something or at least the Padres.

[Pugger]

On no. Not Shaw.

[yourout]

Red light till a strike.

[Pugger]

Take a walk here Shaw

[HarveysWBs]

Argh. His head must be a deep dark forest right now. I can hardly imagine. Sports psychology was made for guys like him, I bet. Edited September 11, 2019 by Harvey'sWBs

[jason21nl]

Or a weak ground ball.

[Lostpawn]

So weak.

[Pugger]

Sigh

[willie key]

He’s the worst. Hahahahahaha

[Bulldogboy]

Omg. You just cant with Shaw. Come on man.

[shanedog19]

There are a few pitchers on our team I'd rather see hit than Shaw at this point.

[yourout]

Customary 1 for 6 with RISP

[adambr2]

You've got to non-tender Shaw. I mean I know you don't have options if Moose leaves but you'll have to look in free agency or a trade. You just can't do this with him again in 2020

[stoutdude04]

Haha. I checked the game log, and as anticipated, Shaws log is pathetic.

[Pugger]

He’s the worst. Hahahahahaha

I fail to see any humor here.

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

So much for that.

It's time to go to a guy who made 17 bad starts for a bad team for a closing opportunity in a pennant race. Total confidence!

[willie key]

He’s the worst. Hahahahahaha

I fail to see any humor here.

Sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying. It’s good for the soul
