Man, what a performance from Woody! We have sure come a long way from the "Might as well shut him down, because this team isn't going anywhere" talk.

We get it. People thought the season was over. :laughing

I mean even Brian Anderson said on the air last week, 'The Brewers looked DONE."

I don't think there's any shame in it. More of a positive statement about the resilience of the team.

Why Peralta Craig?? Just...why?? There is ZERO reason to be using him. If you aren't going to use Lyles, then give Suter the 5th-6th, Pom the 7th-8th, hader the 9th...win the game. No need to mess around tonight with anyone other than your very best arms. That's asking for trouble.

If they didn't think he was one of their very best arms, he wouldn't be on the roster tonight.

This is good, going with Shaw here. Save Gamel for later. Want to get at least one more AB out of Braun, too

Not swinging at all might be the strategy here, Travis.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

I'd feel a lot better if we could get this game to say, 5-1.

I will feel a lot better when we get through Suter.

I’ll feel a lot better when they’re on the plane to LA...
