Treat Adams as a 1 Lazard as a 5, go get a 2,3,4 in the WR group. Probably a couple TE as well.

It is more than a talent gap, don't kid yourself. Many teams, that are much worse than us talent wise, play them closer than we do. I think coaching can take some blame if we get creamed twice by the same team.

 

Losing is one thing, getting embarrassed is another. We should not be getting embarrassed by anyone if we have exceptional game planning and coaching.

 

I think this is just as much about getting out coached.

SF was 1-10 in 2017 and ended the season on a 5 game win streak. The 2 year turnaround is absolutely possible.

The 49ers have drafted higher and more skillfully and it really shows now. The late TT years have gutted this team, and we’re not all the way back yet. It’s tough to watch another Packer team be so clearly better than 80-90% of the league be equally clearly inferior than the top 10%. The more things change...
