So an OL picks up Martinez who's crashing at the RB. And not one body within 10yards? What are we calling for defense? Amos is a nobody.

That was 2 bodies between the Tackles for 20yards.

Yeah, I don't see anything positive that Pettine adds to the talent he has.

Mid season the defense looked like it's usual awful self. The weak schedule down the stretch probably is why so many of us thought things were different coming into tonight. They won't fire him, this organization is always a year too late to recognize an problem. I still don't like the 3-4, wish they would scrap it.

About the only worse thing that could’ve happened in the 1st Half was major injury to a Packers player. Completely overwhelmed on both sides of the ball.

Chiefs versus 49ers should be an interesting Super Bowl matchup. See if the KC passing offense can crack the SF defense and KC defense figure out a way to stop the SF rushing offense.

Maybe read my post and you’ll have your question answered. I highlighted it in blue for you. And since you seem to think I’m an “I told you so” guy I’m far from it. It’s just the same ole same ole, and you know it’s true.

I think you missed my point. If you thought they weren't going to win, how can you be angry that they didn't win?

I am angry about how undisciplined, unorganized, and unprepared they seem to be. This 49ers team is not an all time great team, they’re “good.”

I’m trying to not go down the road of #12 as it’s not all him and he’s HOF but he is a common denominator in all of these embarrassments the past many years.

Same issues for years. Poor offensive line play (not sure how people can dispute this any longer). Not sure how y’all always say they are very good, but those numbers are beyond flawed with whatever you look at. Rodgers is a magician and is always forced to avoid multiple guys on every play and pull off miraculous play after miraculous play. Not saying they all suck. Maybe one or two are decent. But having one very good one and the rest a bunch of garbage is going to result in a garbage offensive line. And that’s what we have.

Ok, there's a lot to be critical of, but let's not say things we can't take back. They've basically played three bad games all year, and all three were against the best pass rush teams in the league.

I was critical of their line earlier this year and years past (maybe not openly on here in the past). I do stand by that statement. Their offensive line really isn’t as good as a lot of people tend to believe. Not sure what numbers people look at to come to the conclusion though about this line being so great. Is it snap to throw time? From him being able to roll out and by time? Is it snap to contact time of a defender getting a hand on him, also by Rodgers avoiding 3 guys and still getting throws off before getting shoved to the turf?

I honestly don’t know what stats people look at or what stats are out there to even measure it. But this line is not good. And it’s not been a great line for a number of years.

Glad I stopped investing emotion into non Brewers sports games. Not really worth it. Usually prefer watching non Packers football just to enjoy a game without caring for an outcome.

If Dorsey doesn't get another GM job we need to bring him back to shore up the Draft/Scouting.

I think it's always a good think if you can add talent to the leadership of the team, so I'd certainly be for it.

I mean I doubt many here really would have put money on us winning but I think after being embarrassed in Week 12 and being told by the team that they were going to do everything to fix the things from Week 12, being down 27-0 at halftime is probably justifiably angering.

Well, that is probably the worst first half of football I’ve ever seen as a Packers fan. Really sucks it has to happen on this stage.

I think you are selling the 49ers short in just calling them 'good'. Their defense has been elite all year, and their offense has been very, very good as well.

Stinks that you wait all day for this and this is what you get. I didn’t think they’d win this game but I thought it’d be competitive and come down to a few plays. What I’m watching here is just sad and pathetic. Stinks.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

But this line is not good.

I guess we'll agree to disagree, but I'd expect most of the metrics that you cite would support them been a very good line on the whole.

I’ve been behind on the DVR. Just saw the Rodgers INT. Maybe I’ll read the rest of the GT during the ‘autopsy’ tomorrow. Just want to say:

1) This team was far better than I thought. Give them credit for that.

2) I didn’t think we’d see another 38-7 type beatdown. Shame on me.

3) Special Teams, Below average for years.

4) The home crowd was awesome. Hardly any Packer fans. Had the Packers been at home, half the ‘die hard season ticket holders’ would have marched their playoff tickets down to Ticketstar for a 20% premium.

They still take too many deep drops and Rodgers holds the ball too long, the offense never really got it going this year and was never going to survive a defensive meltdown like this. From that first TD on 3rd and long you could feel it, we were cooked.

I was thinking the same thing during the pregame show. Hard to call Packer fans the best fans in the world knowing that.

So some people asked in the regular season why it mattered to some of us why we were "winning ugly". Who cares? A win is a win, right?

Well, tonight is why. You can win ugly only for so long. You can't "ugly" your way to a Super Bowl. The competition is too strong.

Also, and I know I’ve posted on this in the past, STOP with the dang 1 yard out routes!! Not exactly sure why we started doing those throws 10 times per game the last few years, but wow does it seem to barely ever work. You want to put a drive together, score some points, and keep the pressure on the defense? Throw the ball downfield. This front of the 49ers is great, but you can do a 5 step drop and hit a 10 yard slant on your first or second read. You just can’t hold the ball and go to a 3rd or 4th option and expect nobody on the defense to get to you by then. They just need to be quick passes that are out on the first or second read.

Rodgers is summoning his inner Cutler. I thought the Packers could hang with the 49ers and then their defense would collapse in the 2nd half after running out of gas but it looks like the Packers defense decided not to show up at all in the 1st half except for maybe a few plays here or there.

The Packers run defense is still rather poor and I have no idea why other teams didn't run on them more. Martinez is a good LB when he doesn't have to face a competent run blocking TE once that happens he is basically an invisible player on defense.

It looks like the Packers didn't even game plan for the 49ers blocking scheme at all. They should be daring Jimmy G to throw the ball and they simply are not doing this at all. They need to call some run blitzes and just leave their corners on an island there really isn't a WR on the 49ers that should scare the Packers but they are playing like the 49ers have Moss, Owens, and Rice all in their prime at WR. One of the safeties needs to be playing up and covering the running gaps that Martinez should be occupying but is instead being occupied by a WR or a TE.

The Packers run defense so far falls on the coaching staff as they haven't made a single adjustment to the 49ers and how they are playing.

It doesn't help that throw a lot of them to a guy like Allison who has the slowest first step in the league
