Consider this sequence of events:

 

In the last 2 years, we

 

1) Hired Eric Sogard for a bit over 2 million

2) Fired him because he was so bad at his job

3) Payed him to stay home

4) Hired him back at double his previous salary

Little better inning there. Hold 'em and hope.

 

This roster is...weird offensively? It feels like Yeli+ Hiura and a lot of league average-ish guys? Which should be good in theory, but it just looks odd to me as I watch it for the first time competitively.

Ha. No pace of play issues tonight.

 

Kinda. There's been no offense and we are barely over 2/3rds through the game and it's still 2 hours in.
