2020-07-24 (Opening Day): Brewers (Woodruff) at Cubs (Hendricks) [Brewers lose, 3-0]

Talk about a revolving door at first base.......wow.

[MrTPlush]

Yellow fronted batting helmet...yikes. Not feeling it.

[owbc]

I was just thinking these unis are super sharp.

DFA Yelich and Hiura

Same here. I think we look fantastic uniform wise.

Another enthusiastic vote for these uniforms

I was in the minority it seemed, but I hated the new unis

I don’t mind the rest of it, I like the jersey after seeing it in one of the scrimmages. Though I feel the yellow front hat kind of clashes with the jersey. The hat makes me think retro and uni makes me think of a college uniform (which always feel very trendy modern).

Bryant with a real good AB against Woody here. Making him throw a lot of pitches

[topper09er]

DFA Yelich and Hiura

mid season form already. well done

[wildcat83]

Threw a lot of pitches, but good to get through that trio.

[markedman5]

Hendricks looks sharp as usual.

I mean, it's already July 24th & neither one has a hit yet.

The ESPN broadcast is hilarious. They have Jesse Rogers on and his mask is too big so it keeps falling below his nose and mouth and he keeps pushing it back up only to have it fall back down 5 seconds later.

[owbc]

There was the first strike called a ball thanks to poor framing.

[adambr2]

Where did that first pitch to Schwarber miss?

Poor framing or not, that was an embarrassing call. It's one thing to miss a close one. That was right down the middle.

[adambr2]

The zillion things that are different about this season and we still couldn't figure out a way to get rid of the old dude standing directly behind the catcher getting the calls wrong.

[markedman5]

Man his change is just devastating

[adambr2]

I had almost forgotten about the Cenex commercial with the little girl laughing at the word "dipstick."

Can Sogard even throw the ball from the foul line behind 3rd to first base on a line? Semi serious question

[markedman5]

Nothing but fastballs.......Happ gets one he likes.....

Sogard and Hiura has to be one of the worst arm duos to have on the field at once. Double noodles.

[adambr2]

Woodruff not particularly sharp. Got bailed out by a couple double plays but not this time.
