Smoak should've bunted...

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Yeah, I don’t care if you don’t bunt regularly, in a case like that they are basically giving you a hit on anything pushed to the left side.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Houser is a reliever. *Cracks another Miller

Yep, relievers go 7IP only giving up one extra base hit.*Finishes off another Shiner.

...and 4 runs to a lousy team.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Yelich looks like he's ready to go off. Good to see for sure. Why people are pitching to him is a mystery. He has nothing behind him.

I don't even have a clue where we could be put to get some protection. Garcia has been a bit better, as has Hiura, but Narvaez not being able to hit his weight has been really rough. They were depending on him to be on of the better bats in the lineup.

Never thought I would see a Brewer regular that hit worse than Travis Shaw last year.

I'd be tempted to send Narvaez to Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. Nottingham can't be worse.

Spring training the guy looked great. I don't know what happened but last year was a career year for him. Perhaps that was the best he's got.

Maybe Haines is the issue. Shaw looks better this year and Aguilar is also hitting well.

Narvaez weak ground ball nearly every at bat.

His bat path is terrible. Everything is an upper cut(excessive launch angle) no matter the pitch and location.

Part of the reason Yelich struggled early was he had the same problem. If you want his swing lately its much more on plane and a lower finish( below the shoulder)

Just setting up the triple play!

Not sure if he is the issue but he sure isn't the answer.

I think we’ve seen too many take steps back offensively and then go elsewhere and do well. Andy Haines just has to be the fall guy even if he really doesn’t play much a role in it.

The pressure is certainly going to be on the Brewers now, they really need to leave Pittsburgh with two wins.
Not just “at Night” anymore.
