Got to think Suter starts tomorrow?

What did I miss? And without knowing what I missed I vote Rasmussen.

Is it because of the double header messing with the rest days?

Yes.....it would be Houser turn but with the DH he would be on short rest

Feel like Yardley has good looking ERA but has allowed a lot of inherited runners to score...

As a 4th or 5th option which he is Yardley is fine but he is nothing great.

The Pirates have had base runners all over the place.

We’ve had more base runners than them. The only place they’ve had more runners is home plate.

Lol...’.we can’t get a run on a wild pitch with bases loaded......then we get another swing when inning shou,d have been over......then we get a strike out anyway

Horrible game to watch, what a boring team. Thankfully, it's only 60 games this year, I simply could not watch this mess for 162.

Brewer's offense had 6 hits, 5 walks, 2 hbp, and was aided by 2 errors and 2 wild pitches and could only score 1 run...

Hopefully the trade deadline is exciting but I have a feeling we won't do anything worthwhile.

This was just a dreadful loss. Woodruff on the mound and you’re facing the Pirates bullpen all game and you come up with one run. Good thing we came back and won last night.

Woodruff came into the game with a 3.19 ERA and a 2.87 FIP.

Fangraphs has him as the #11 pitcher in baseball.

And before people complain about walks, he had the 22nd lowest walk rate in baseball coming into today.

Tough crowd around here.

A significant part of my disappointment with Woodruff has been his inability to get deeper into games. I want my best starter to go more than 5 innings, and he hasn’t been able to do that often enough.

Going deep into a game is essentially an impossible task when Craig Counsell is your manager.

Maybe it’s because of the disjointed training leading to the season, but last year Woodruff had a stretch of 12 games in which he went 6 or more innings in 11 of them and went 7 or 8 several times. He isn’t coming close to that now.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
