So if Hader can’t go multiple innings anymore, could they at least use Williams in that sort of role going forward?

With all these holes on this roster Hader is going to have to be traded in the offseason.

If the goal is to also reduce the 2021 payroll while remaining competitive, probably. But that means they'd have to trade Hader for young players that would fill holes on the big league roster next year, so they won't have to spend millions on the retread types they picked up this year.

So of course he hits a HR.

Just paying $10M to the wrong guy evidently... :laughing

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

It seems a bit strange that Urias is wearing a mask in the field when he isn’t far removed from having COVID and should have immunity for at least another month.

12th come from behind victory tonight. Somehow the guys keep playing even after the IGT gives up.

We win! One less day of complaining about the state of our franchise and Stearns! I rejoice.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

It's been a frustrating season so far for the Brewers, but you cannot take away how Hader and Williams (and to a lesser extent, Phelps) have dominated the late innings for them. Those two are as dominant as any late relief pair I can remember.

Even without Phelps the bullpen is really good.

Eric Yardley has been a pleasant surprise, as has Claudio's success. And Suter continues to be Suter (which is a really good pitcher). Excited to see more of Rasmussen and Topa too.

Remember Haines was hired after being fired as an assistant hitting coach with the Cubs after their lineup underachieved. He has no business being a major league hitting coach.

Not that I expect a response but this is flat out wrong.

While your negativity is overboard, it can at least be ignored - no reason to make things up though.
