Was Vogelbach not so subtly stealing the sign there?

Battle of the mullets is being won by Burnes.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Omar is so much better than Pina

Hell yes! Runs are nice, but stopping an in game thread from becoming another Grisham pissfest is even better.

"Go ahead. Try to disagree with me. I dare you." Jeffrey Leonard.

So nice getting 2018 Shaw back!

And 2019 Narvaez!

I bet Lamet is on a pitch count tomorrow so they probably want Paddack to throw several more innings.

Shaw hitting it hard and getting rewarded for a change

I love it! In 2019, if Shaw would have gone cold like he has been for the last week, he would have pressed and changed his approach. This time he's still managed to put together some nice ABs, and has scalded some balls that just happened to he hit right at fielders. He's always going to be a streaky hitter, but so far, he's proven that he can be an overall asset.

Hiura on the other hand ...

Very nice inning. Way to make them pay.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Yes! I’m loving this Travis Shaw redemption story. Long may it live!

Isn't there a record of like 35 Ks and 0 walks to start a season?
