2021-05-26: Padres (Paddack) at Brewers (Lauer) [Brewers lose, 2-1 in 10 innings -- Lauer pitches a gem and hits a HR; offense fails again]

[yourout]

That's that.

[yfinn6]

That bottom of the 9th was so badly botched by the Brewers. Just hilariously poor execution. Now they're gonna lose.

[brooks_quichenick]

Glad I wasted another night watching this offense hack away wildly

[TURBO]

Padres made that look easy.

Another wasted gem by a starting pitcher.

This is gross.

[mtrebs]

That didn’t take long. Sigh.

[adambr2]

A really bad offense and a really bad back end of the bullpen is going to result in many extra inning losses.

[TURBO]

I love Machado getting boo'd!

DIRTBAG!

[willie key]

Figure it out

[wOOgiE22]

Will Counsell ever pitch Hader 2 innings?

[TURBO]

Does Suter think the catcher is going to steal 2B?

lol

[yourout]

Machado is about ready to send one towards lake Michigan.

[adambr2]

Will Counsell ever pitch Hader 2 innings?

No, he's pretty much done in any other role other than traditional closer. They've had some really obvious 4 out save situations this year and still passed on using him until the 9th.

[BruisedCrew]

So, since they’ll need Garcia to pinch hit, which pitcher will start on second if they’re only down by 1?

ETA: forgot about the goofy rule when the last batter is out of the game.

Gives up a single in the inning and most of the fan base hates on the performance. Good outing from Brent.

[Eye Black]

I wouldn’t mind if Adames ended this one before JBJ or Robertson even come to the plate.

[adambr2]

Well, still only down 1 and a runner on 2nd. If we had a reasonably competent offense we could feel ok about this.

[Eye Black]

Smart of the Padres to save their closer for the 10th inning here.

[Eye Black]

Pretty good upgrade in speed going from Shaw to Hiura.

[BruisedCrew]

Can someone just take this guy to the opposite field?

[Sixtofan]

Hey, Keston gets to see what it feels like to be on second base!

[wallus]

Adames is going to be a fan favorite quickly.

[Eye Black]

Adames is going to be a fan favorite quickly.

I don’t care what anyone tries to tell me, his swings look the part to me.

[wallus]

Sigh

[yourout]

How the hell do you not score on that?

[brooks_quichenick]

Hahaha. Ok. Cool.
