Picking up the rest of his salary for 2021 might be worth it if the trading team assumes responsibility for the 2022 option, for example.

Obviously Taylor being good is something that many of us first guessed but makes the Bradley contract baffling. How a guy as smart as Stearns could get it this wrong is hard to believe. I never thought Bradley was going to out hit Taylor given the same opportunity. That being said Cain being hurt was also something that you could see coming so I do sorta get it.
