How is Adames defense comparatively using different metrics? I can’t believe he is a top half SS defensively. Overall, sure, but errors with routine throws have been pretty lousy lately.

Hopefully, his on the job learning experience will help him become an adequate defensive 1B by the time the Brewers enter the playoffs … if not, his defense will become a liability - similar to Uris at 3B

 

During the upcoming off-season, I hope Milwaukee works with Taylor, Urius, & possibly Garcia (if he stays) … & even Yelich, as candidates to play 1B next season

 

I believe it would be a mistake to hope that Huira is the long-term option there

Lauer breaking out along with Ashby getting his first MLB experience recently, and Small presumably on the horizon for next year really gives the Brewers a nice trio of LHPs to be excited about for the future. [sarcasm]They can stack the future six man rotation with a R-L-R-L-R-L order![/sarcasm]
