Generally, yes, but he IS pitching well today. Really putting the curve in good spots and mixing the fastball.

The inability to get Lane Thomas out is really costing the Crew.

 

I think the offense has 5 or 6 in it today, and, even if not, not a big deal to drop a series, but man. Frustrating to have been playing so well and then have it all fade from about the 5th inning in STL.

Nationals definitely striking the ball better against our pitchers than we are with their pitchers.

 

Brett Anderson and Eric Lauer are not our best pitchers, of course, though.

 

Hopefully, we can get Woodruff going well again, get Peralta healthy again, and keep Burnes sharp/fresh for the stretch run.
