2021-09-21: Cardinals (Woodford) at Brewers (Woodruff) [Brewers lose, 2-1 -- Crew offense continues to struggle, Solid Woodruff start goes for naught]

I don't think I've ever seen a game where a team didn't hit a ground ball!

Urias had a ground ball single in the 5th

Thank You. I stand corrected.

Good thing Vogelbach hit that walk off grand slam against this team or the panic level would be real high.

There really is no reason to panic. There are reasons to be frustrated, though.

Logically you are correct but its not stopping me.

What is the cardinals schedule the rest of the way.

All Cubs and Brewers. Don’t count on any help.

I mean, you also basically predicted the Reds to win their whole September schedule.

It would be highly unlikely for the Cardinals to win all 7 against the Cubs.

Come on, I never said anything close to that. I said that playing the Pirates and Marlins would be easier than playing the Giants and Cardinals. That seems pretty hard to argue with.

I’m not saying the Cards are going to win all 7 from the Cubs, though it is possible considering the Brewers beat them 11 in a row.

What I am saying is that the Brewers shouldn’t count on getting any help. They have to find 3 wins as soon as they can so they don’t have to win them in St.Louis and LA.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

It was a borderline strike if he doesn't swing at it he probably strikes out looking. Only option there would be to foul it off.
