I know it's pre-season. I know. I know. But, did anyone here not anticipate a big return on the kickoff coming out to start this second half? LOL. At this point, well, it's almost a certainty. What a curse.

These refs suck.  Offensaive pass interference right in front of the play.  I hop we don't get this group during the season.  they suck

If we can even get to average special teams it will be a massive upgrade.

It's like they switched the playbooks for return vs kicking.  No lanes to run when we are returning.  Lanes to run everywhere when we are kicking, now a muff and 5 yard line.  Mind boggling bad.

Until the unit can stop returns, just have him outkick the coverage.

Summers might make it due to special teams but if he has to play snaps on D it will not be good.

Amari seems to be getting separation on his routes, but I haven't seen winfree with more than a step tonight.

It still is the Packers special teams.  Likely better odds to kick and get a packer ST error than go for it.

It's amazing to me how many people are on the ground at the point of attack. Every big return, we have at least a gunner and a spear on the ground. Then the first guy down who...of course doesn't break down. It's exceptionally easy to for a return man, even if he's an equal athlete to the man pursuing to make him miss and KRers are usually quicker and more explosive. There's no funneling, no lane integrity. 

It's baffling.

Don't get it, haven't seen it. I also appreciate, the guys making the calls know more than me, but I'm with you.

That wasn't on Carpenter. Looked to ME like they were playing Quarters. Gafford jumped that and for no discernible reason(assuming we're talking about the long TD pass when Carpenter was playing inside him). He had the TE coming up the seem).

He did obviously...but that's the type of situation I'm good with him taking a shot. 3rd and 5, wrong side of the 50 and ~30 seconds left. Try and make a play, otherwise punt team is coming out anyway.

He's the clear #5 MLBer. We've played the vast majority of our snaps the past few years with 1...so I think we'll be good. I also don't think he'll make it, but we'll see.
