It doesn't feel like it's going to take many runs to get this done tonight but a couple more sure wouldn't hurt.

You need to be introduced to Coach Cooper and “pouring it on.”

Hate to see the Brewers going into the Cardinals series with Williams and Hader likely unavailable for the first game.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Here’s hoping tonight is the Brewers break out game - I’d love to see an offensive explosion … maybe a 10-spot + some strong defense & pitching to even their record before hosting the hated Cardinals tomorrow at home

Stars of the game - Burnes, Huira, & Taylor … + Brousseau

That’s the funniest comment I’ve heard since last October.

Didn’t he start slowly last year?

Ya he had a late start to spring because of a shoulder issue. Didn't really have an offseason if I remember correctly.

I wish DW would use as fastball a little bit more.

When you've got mid to upper 90s gas to go with that change up why not break it out once in a while

His fastball is very average all of his value comes from the changeup

Burnes walked off the mound at 7:53. I thought, “quick game.” Forty minutes later there have been four more outs.

Why can't all of our relievers be perfect!?

If this directed at me, I would like to point you to the previous day of the same pitcher loading the bases. He worked out, but it was the same stuff tonight. Perfect? Hah, no one is asking for "perfect" but he has work to do to regain trust.

I don't think anyone expected Williams to be perfect. In fact, what happened is pretty much what was expected.
