Game Thread (4/22/2022): Brewers (Peralta) at Phillies (Suárez) - 6:05 PM CDT

I realize that it’s a reflex action, but Peralta’s behind the back stab at that come backer prevented an easy DP and puts a runner in scoring position.

And once again Peralta puts the team in a hole.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

How predictable was that.  Gotta put the ball in play in that situation.

About as predictable as Harper banging one off the wall

Just logged in and I see Peralta is still... not awesome.

Peralta has been a pretty volatile pitcher his entire career. You can usually tell what kind of game it will be by his first inning.

Oh yeah, for sure, any starter who walks as many as he does is going to be a wild ride on any single night... but he's been so bad this season in comparison to the past couple of years.

He's struggling with his slider location early on. That's the key pitch for him. Keeps hitters off his fastball.

Okay this ump is bad. We might as well just give up right now if Suarez is going to get that pitch the whole game.

Randy's brother has always been bad. And just think, we get Angel Hernandez Sunday.

Oh believe me. I took the time, and you clearly stated, "peralta can't be one foot in the door of being sent to the minors." He has absolutely no feet in any door of being sent to the minors. This is in addition to a post last week during the in-game thread (don't think it was yours) that asked, "how many options does peralta have left?" You made a ridiculous statement; own up to it.

No.     You didn’t

Do the Brewers know that Hiura has severe reverse splits? They sure operate like they have no clue. He should be nowhere near batting 5th against lefties.

Okay. Apparently, quoting your exact words doesn't constitute reading what you said. Enjoy whatever world you're living in.

Dude just stop. Peralta is not in danger of being sent to the minors any time soon. It's been two flippin' starts, and his first one actually wasn't that horrible aside from the first inning home-run by suzuki. I swear, the complete lack of patience and understanding of the small sample size phenomenon from some of the people on this site is nothing short of astounding.

Dude take a deep breath and chill. It’s the in-game thread. Venting is allowed.

I mean, not that exact hoodie, no need to be a creeper, just that design.

I know what you mean.   You want his hoodie and you will never ever ever ever wash it again
